Hello! I’m Carlos Barroso, a bilingual (English/Spanish) IT Technician based in Charlotte, NC. I have strong hands-on experience supporting hardware, software, networks, and manufacturing systems. I’m known for being a quick problem-solver, adaptable, and meticulous with documentation.   

My technical skills include working with various operating systems like Windows and Linux, managing networks (LAN/WAN, DNS, DHCP, VPN, Active Directory), and repairing hardware like PCs and printers. I’m also proficient with tools such as Remote Desktop, AutoCAD, and help desk ticketing systems. I hold certifications including CompTIA A+, TestOut Network Pro, TestOut PC Pro, and the Google IT Support Certificate.  

Currently, I work as an IT Technician at Decore-Ative Specialties, where I maintain the IT infrastructure for manufacturing, upgrade systems, manage network components, and lead IT projects. I also train staff and keep detailed documentation. Previously, I gained experience as a Lead Technician at Cat Tech Support, providing remote support and managing IT systems for clients. I also worked as a Geek Squad Agent at Best Buy, assisting customers with various device issues.
